At CCNS, our Summer Camp is a creative playground where children’s natural curiosities are sparked, and their individual interests are nurtured. We believe in providing a nurturing, creative environment where children feel valued and respected, knowing their thoughts and ideas are heard. It’s in this kind of setting that children grow, explore, and develop, making the most of their summer in a way that fosters confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love for learning.
Our camp program is built around our mission to educate the whole child—emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. We understand that summer is a time for fun and exploration, so we create experiences that blend imaginative play, hands-on art projects, outdoor adventures, and more. Whether it’s discovering the world through art, experimenting with science, or enjoying the freedom of water play on a hot summer day, our campers are constantly engaged in activities that allow them to express themselves and explore new ideas.
A perfect example of this is our Artscapades week, where children are encouraged to dive into various artistic mediums like watercolor paints, face painting, and even junk modeling. These activities invite campers to stretch their imaginations, express their creativity, and work collaboratively, all while having fun with color and texture. It’s not just about making art—it’s about the process of creation, problem-solving, and enjoying the joy of seeing their ideas come to life.

In addition to art, we incorporate activities that foster teamwork and hands-on learning. Kitchen Kapers week is one of the many ways we inspire creativity using everyday materials. Children explore the world of cooking and cleaning, turning simple items into imaginative tools for play. Whether they’re building towers with boxes, painting with bottles or mixing concoctions with flour and soap, they are learning the value of creativity, resourcefulness, and working together.
Of course, no summer camp experience would be complete without outdoor play, and at CCNS, we spend the entire day on our playground. From water play activities like digging a mud pit for the dinosaurs and painting the bikes and washing them off to color mixing in the sensory bin to playing with water balloons and ice, children enjoy the freedom of the outdoors, where they can splash, laugh, and play.
At CCNS, we understand that summer is the perfect time to nurture curiosity, creativity, and a sense of independence. Each day is filled with open-ended learning opportunities that encourage self-expression, collaboration, and exploration. Through play, children learn more than just facts—they build the confidence, social skills, and emotional intelligence that will serve them well throughout their lives.
