We are thrilled you decided to explore CCNS
Community Cooperative Nursery School is a unique, nurturing, and special place to enroll your child for their first formal educational experience. As our name implies, we are a community that comes together and learns together.
Our staff is experienced, creative, kind, and committed to nurturing lifelong learners in an environment where our children truly learn through play. We are grateful for your interest in our program.
To experience CCNS, we hope you will arrange to visit to our little red schoolhouse. It is once you walk in the door that you really understand our warm and welcoming atmosphere.
CCNS Enrollment Timeline
On October 1, we begin our admissions process for the following school year. Before that date, we welcome inquiries from new families and encourage you to reach out early to schedule a tour and be added to our interest list.
Enrollment is offered with priority given first to current students, followed by siblings of current students, alumni families, and then new families. After the priority enrollment period, remaining spaces are filled on a rolling basis.
To secure your child’s spot, a signed contract and a non-refundable $500 deposit (applied toward annual tuition) are required. For families enrolling during the fall admissions cycle, contracts and deposits are due on the first Monday in January. For anyone who elects to enroll later in the year, the deposit will be due upon contract signing.
Application Process & Tours
We are currently accepting applications for the 2026–27 school year. At this time, our Threes and Fours classes are full, with limited availability remaining in our Twos program.
To learn more or schedule a tour, please contact our Administrative Director, Mary Nevin Gauthier, at admin@ccnsct.org or call 203-866-2184.
Applications may be submitted via email or through our online application below. Families are notified as soon as possible if a space becomes available for their child, at which time an enrollment contract will be shared.
