Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CCNS is following the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood and the state and local health departments to provide a safe environment for our children, their families and our staff.
Extra cleaning and disinfecting is done in the classroom and on the playground on a daily basis. Classes are completely separate with the teachers only in their classroom with their own students. In addition, a daily health screening is completed for every child and staff member before they can come to school to ensure that they are safe to be on site.
Through these measures, we hope to greatly reduce the possibility of transmission of COVID-19 at CCNS.
We are thrilled you decided to explore CCNS
The Community Cooperative Nursery School is a unique, nurturing, and special place to enroll your child for their first formal educational experience. As our name implies, we are a community that comes together and learns together.
Our staff is experienced, creative, kind, and committed to nurturing lifelong learners in an environment where our children truly learn through play. We are grateful for your interest in our program.
To experience CCNS, we hope you will arrange to visit to our little red schoolhouse. It is once you walk in the door that you really understand our warm and welcoming atmosphere.
